Regional Meetings
Regional Meetings are a special time to network with other chapters near you. Our three Regional Directors have been busy planning informational and fun-filled weekends for your enjoyment. Plan to take a whole carload. The National Treasurer will be notifying each chapter about the number of delegates the chapter is able to have. Some of the travel expenses will be reimbursed to the chapter provided the delegates are present for all sessions. If you cannot attend your own Regional meeting, feel free to contact the Regional Director for another region if space is available.
North Regional – November 5-7, 2009

Friday: Bus to The Philadelphia Montessori-Charter schools; lunch at Chestnut Hill College; afternoon in historic Philadelphia; optional evening activity is planned

South Regional – February 26-27, 2010

Southeast Regional – October 23-25, 2009

The Southeast Regional meeting has been postponed to Spring 2010 or Fall 2010.
More information will be sent by Dr. Tolley directly to the chapters in the Southeast Region as well as posted in the Spring edition of THE CURRENT.
NATIONAL CONVENTIONS
2011 Triennial National Convention
The next National Convention will be held November 4-6, 2011 at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport Millennium Center. Our room rate will be $99 plus tax per night. Reservations may be made by calling 1-877-STAY-HGI and mention “Kappa Delta Epsilon”
The theme for the triennium (2009, 2010, 2011) is “Keys to Success.”
2008 Biennial National Convention
The national theme for KDE for 2007 and 2008 is “Diamonds of Learning.”
